Half Moon

A half moon looks like half a circle. It is sometimes called a quarter moon.

I took this photo on January 8th ~ This moon has completed one quarter of an orbit around the Earth from the full position and one quarter of the moon's surface is visible from Earth.

I love the moon too. What's not to love.
I see the moon and the moon sees me.
Down through the leaves of the old oak tree.
Please let the light that shines on me.
Shine on the ones I love.
Me and grands sing this every full moon. And Ry always has to say...hey Oma it's the Mother Moon.
Thanks Audrey.
vert word....epsym...Epsym big craters on that there moon.
