Mom's Christmas ~ 2009

Last week I finished decorating Mom's apartment which is on the lower level of our house. Thought I would share the results as I think it looks beautiful. Mom will be 93 in February, so she isn't able to do much of the decorating. She did, however, place the figures in the manger. She thoroughly enjoys her Nativity and tree each year. I've posted a close up to show the detail. Mom has had this Nativity since abut 1950 ~ A friend made the Manger for her. It has been a part of every Christmas as far back as I can remember. After all, this is what Christmas is all about.

Love the poinsiettas all lined up in from of the creche. And the large tree ornaments....dripping off the bottom branches...beautiful!

I am THE LOVERS Tarot Card

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse. THE LOVERS represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made. Originally, this card was just called LOVE. And that's acually more apt than "LOVERS." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective.
