Back in the Virginia Mountains

I drove back to VA yesterday ~ traffic wasn't too bad and I enjoyed the warmth of the sun shining through my windows all the way. I fear that is the only warmth I am going to feel for a while. It is really COLD!! And word has it that another storm is on the way. I think everyone is getting a little weary of snowstorms. There are people suffering with no heat in many parts of the country. It would be nice if Mother Nature would begin her Spring preparations a little early this year.
It is good to be back and I am eager to get back to daily blogging and catching up with all of you. I have piles of work and mail on my desk, and laundry to do today. I do have many photos to share with you. I took this one at the beach the day the starfish came ashore. So, once I get the necessities out of the way, I'll be back to post some pictures.
Have a great day! Stay safe and stay warm!

I'm so sorry that I insulted you in my last comment, asking about the starfish. If I had thought first I would have fully realized that with the little bit that I know of you, you would be knowledgeable enough and compassionate enough not to be unwittingly killing the star fish. I apologize.:-(

Oh my goodness, Jan, you did not insult me at all. I thought it was funny the way that you stated it, saying "what was I thinking?". Absolutely no apology necessary at all. Now I feel bad that you thought I was insulted. We could keep going back and forth on this.... lol, but we don't need to. I am not upset at all, Jan.
I am always happy to read your comments.

Linda,
I like your "ovidemi" statement. I need to get back to your place and see what words I get. (:
You are right - I hate both packing FOR the trip and unpacking AFTER!!

Thank goodness! It's one thing to insult an old friend but quite another to insult a new one! Not that I go around insulting my old friends either, I hope not....Okay, 'nuff said.

Hi Audrey - what a beautiful picture. It makes me miss the beach! Well, maybe that and the fact that it is COLD outside. :) I'm glad you're back. Do what I do, and leave everything in your suitcase for a couple of weeks - haha! Hope you had a great Valentine's Day! xox
