Snow in the Forest

"There is nothing in the world more beautiful than the forest clothed to its very hollows in snow. It is the still ecstasy of nature, wherein every spray, every blade of grass, every spire of reed, every intricacy of twig, is clad with radiance."
~William Sharp

I love the trees when the snow sticks to them; it brings out all the branches, details......beautiful!!!
We got no snow----just cold!

Photo and quote are both lovely. This reminds me of a Bev Doolittle painting.

Audrey-yes, and the silence at that time is so still. You only hear small branches break deep in the wood. Lovely. ~rick
