Community Pool 3..2..1..Jump

I took this photo (quickly - just in the nick of time) one day this week. I wasn't going to post it because it isn't one of my best - not real clear and it isn't a front view of the birds - but I decided to post it simply because of my surprise to see the different types of birds at the birdbath together. Of course, they weren't there long enough for me to even think about taking another picture. I was lucky to get this one and wanted to share what I thought was an uncommon thing to see.

It IS rare to see cardinals and starlings socializing! It must have been a really hot day, where cooling off was more of a necessity than worrying about what company you were keeping!

Lovely to see the different birds together, I understand how difficult it can be at times to get a good picture, if you blink they are gone.

Great Picture, we do not have cardinals here but I see different birds together at our feeders all the time, the picture is not that bad it is better than most of mine (lol)

What fun! I love the little guy on the left, looking at the other birds.
Let's see, two sparrows, one male goldfinch and is the other a purple finch or house finch?
I've got to get a bird bath for the yard....but the winds here get so bad I'm afraid it might end up in Ohio.... <:)
And thanks for posting this; it's priceless!
