FOLK Magazine

I recently subscribed to FOLK Magazine, received my first issue last week (WINTER 2013), and I love it. FOLK Magazine presents real american living with content headings such as SHARE, CREATE, STORY, GATHER, and JOURNEY.

The stories are interesting and the photography is splendid. I would have to label this magazine "fresh". I'm hooked. I look forward to receiving the SPRING issue which will soon be out.

If you've read about this magazine on facebook, don't hesitate to subscribe. I know you will be pleased with the content. You can "like" the FOLK Magazine page on facebook to receive notifications in your feed. Perhaps this will give you a better idea of what the magazine is all about.

There are good recipes in each issue, too. We all love a new good recipe!

Georgina said...: Oh Audrey, I'm going to look into this. I remember years ago, I enjoyed reading Folk Art Magazine, but like many wonderful publications, it went bye-bye and I was stuck with some other magazine for the rest of the year....OY!!

I AM A "SEARCHER"

I am THE LOVERS Tarot Card

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse. THE LOVERS represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made. Originally, this card was just called LOVE. And that's acually more apt than "LOVERS." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist.
