Snow

We woke to snow this morning which made me very happy. There wasn't a large accumulation ~ just enough to make things beautiful and white.

I had a few errands to run this afternoon and very little time, so I only took a couple of photographs.

I love how these leaves stay red most of the winter. We have quite a few of these bushes in the yard and it is quite the WOW when it snows and you see the red against the snow.

Mr. Cardinal needed to rest for a while after eating too many of the seeds that I threw all over the front yard.

Very pretty. I don't recognize the red leafed bush, looks startling in the snow there. I wish we had Cardinals here. We have some beautiful Jays that are comparable in beauty if not color. Thanks for sharing, Audrey.

Those are just the perfect Christmas pictures Audrey! You got just enough snow to make things beautiful and not enough to have to fight it! hahaha! (says the snow fighter!)
I like them all, but that cardinal is pretty awesome!
