A Few October Gifts

These October gifts come and go quickly. Take full advantage of the beauty of this season. Take a walk and bask in God's goodness. The glorious color will soon disappear and we will then see the whites and silvers of Winter.

Beautiful, luscious photos, Audrey. October has been just magical here in Louisiana. It's usually hot and humid, but God has gifted us with cool nights and humidless days. I am so thankful. Blessings!

Autumn is fleeting. Somehow it seems to go faster than the other seasons. I think it's because we love the colors and they don't last long. Your photos are wonderful. Have a colorful day, The Olde Bagg

Marion...
I think we've all had enough of the heat and humidity. These colorful, cool days are a blessing for all of us.

Linda...
You are so right. We wait to be filled with the awe of Autumn's beauty, and suddenly it is here and gone.

Marlene...
Funny you should say that. The first photo is the same tree that you did the painting from. I love it and think of you every time I walk down my hall and look at it. I will never forget your kindness.

Jan...
Thank you so much. I do love taking photographs. My poor computer is FILLED with them. (:

Deb, the desert has a beauty all its own ~ I've always been intriqued by it ~ intense heat by day, so very cold at night. And how those intricate little colorful flowers can grow in the dry hot earth. I have many cacti on my plant table and this summer I planted cacti in my flower gardens. So, I am blessed to have the beauty of these awesome trees and a little bit of the desert as well.
