Getting On With My Life

Even with a sore throat, I managed to squeeze out a little smile for you, my friends.

I am still fighting this virus. Each time I start to get better.... here it comes again with a vengeance. This has been going on since April 26th and I am very, very tired of feeling this way. I have been on antibiotics, then double dose antibiotics, and now allergy pills. I've decided to ignore it and get on with my life.

Casey and Amanda are getting married on Saturday, May 29th, and I need to get ready! Terry and I will leave for South Carolina on the 26th and that doesn't leave me much time to prepare.

Mom is still fighting this virus, as well. My sister and B-I-L are coming to stay with her while we are away. My brother, Patrick, went back to Texas on Sunday. It was great to have him here - but not feeling well, we didn't get to do all the things we wanted to. Hopefully, he will be able to make a trip back soon.

I know I haven't blogged in quite a while. Not feeling well and being busy with other things just didn't allow me the time. But, I'm back and I will do my best to keep up with things. Of course I will be gone for the wedding, but I will post many pictures when I return. I don't think it has really hit me yet that my baby is getting married. I don't want to, but I know I will cry! Amanda and Casey have been together for almost 10 years, so it seems they do indeed love each other and make each other happy. What more could I ask for? My son is marrying the girl he loves and I can honestly say that my daughter-in-law and I get along really well and have fun together. It will be an exciting weekend!!

I'm not leaving till next week, so I hope to post some things before then. Thanks for understanding my absence. I've noticed that a number of you have taken little breaks from blogging lately. So, my timing wasn't all bad. Please say a little prayer for me so I can feel good for this wedding. I would hate to be sick on this important day in my son's life. Thanks.

I'm so glad you posted! I was getting worried about you (well, more worried). You will feel absolutely fantastic by the wedding (keep repeating this to yourself! It might work! LOL!). Up your vitamin C - drink lots of OJ, and keep napping. Fingers crossed, it will leave you soon. :) xox Pam

I have been worried about you, and sure am sorry that the blasted bug is STILL persisting. I know a couple of years ago I had *something* for three months solid, took antibiotic I am sure could kill an elephant, and finally, the thing just left of it's own accord. I wonder if the meds helped?
Rest as much as possible; we worry about you, we miss you, but don't stress.
We'll all be here!
Big hugs!!!!

XXOO!!

It is really good to hear from you, Audrey. I was about to write you privately and ask if everything was all right. I guess all isn't right but things are okay. Hope your Mom feels a lot better soon and of course you too. I'll say a little prayer for you in hopes you feel totally well in time for your son's wedding. What a joyous occasion!
