Cool, Crisp Autumn Days

Our flowerbeds are loving this cool, crisp autumn air! The rain has passed and it is overcast, but you can still appreciate the beauty of Fall.

Yes, Rick, sun would be nice. It is trying to peak out of the clouds today here in the Roanoke Valley. One day soon!
Have a great weekend.

Marilyn, I want snow ~ but not until Christmas!! Nothing like a white Christmas. Being from Ohio, I miss those snowy days. Until then, I am blessed to have this wonderful weather here in the Roanoke Valley and able to enjoy many of the flowers into November and beyond.

I am a bit GREEN with envy (in a good way!) that you still have such luscious flower color in your yard! Ours is gone....shot...just the trees now turning and starting their show, which is winderful too.
Your lantana is beautiful; I've not had it for years. And my dad used to breed geraniums, when he had retired and was ill. He had the most spectacular ones......would give them to everyone in the neighborhood.
Good memories with these photo!

XXOO!!

Our Lantana did very well this year and I had a wonderful assortment of colors. I am happy for you that the memories of your Dad include precious flowers, Anne.
I do appreciate that we still have color and beauty in the yard for a while longer. This time of year the grass is so green - I love it. Too hot in the summer and things are drier and not as vibrant.
