IMBOLC Celebration

Yesterday was a gorgeous 60* February afternoon ~ a group of us celebrated IMBOLC - also called Brigid's Day (Feast Day of St. Brigid of Ireland) at Wally and Therry's.
We were welcomed at the door by this wonderful Brigid Cross that Wally made. The many different foods that graced the table were colorful and tasty. Wally made homemade chocolates that are always divine.  I brought a fresh fruit plate.
Imbolc is a Gaelic traditional festival celebrating releasing winter and welcoming spring. It is held on February 1st or 2nd, or about halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.
Thank you, Wally and Therry, for another fun celebration!
