A Winter Day

These robins are managing to find some tasty worms in spite of the temperatures.

It's always easy to spot a male cardinal in the Winter because of his bright red coat.

There is beauty even in the sparsity of the trees.

This wonderful home with the large lone tree sits on the top of a hill with little around it. It is a beautiful sight.

Gorgeous Winter berries.

Oh Audrey, gorgeous photos. That house takes my breath away. I love to see houses like that in the open. Filled our feeders last night and plenty of birds here with my pair of cardinals and even some bluebirds.
Bluebirds are eating the winterberries, everything else is gone. xox Corrine

What a beautiful photo post!!! My gosh--you could exhibit your pics!
I have a feeling the Robins are a long way from visiting here.....at least I hope they have enough sense to stay south till things warm and thaw.
Which seems like it will be eons before that happens. ;-D

Oh, so pretty! I love that little stone house. :) We got ten inches of snow. I should be shoveling, but I am playing on the computer - hahah! xox Pam

Great photos Audrey. We have red wing blackbirds here again, they are so striking with their red. Can't imagine what it would be like to see cardinals.

Your subject line has that song running through my head now: I am a rock.
