DeMeng Class

TIME!!! I am still trying to find some extra time to squeeze in a little creativity. Mom has had several health issues that took us to Urgent Care and the ER over the past couple of weeks. Needless to say, that was priority ~ it looks like she is finally on the mend. My Christmas tree is still up. I didn't get my Christmas cards done, so I bought New Years cards and they didn't get done. Would you believe I am still wrapping Christmas gifts? My sister and brother-in-law are coming tomorrow ~ we will be celebrating Christmas a little late. I am just getting over a cold that I was dealing with through all of the above, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Michael DeMeng's online class started on Tuesday and finally at 11:oo pm the past two nights, I started to watch the videos and play with paint. I don't have much to show you yet. Just a couple of panels I experimented on with Michael's guidance. I am so excited to do more already and the class has just started. He is amazing and very very funny! I think he should be crowned the King of Color!!

More to come.

Hey Audrey, my tree is still up too, and most of the decorations! LOL!
And you're farther along than I am---you've made it to color; I am still texturizing the BGs!!! :-D
That being said, I am trying to sketch, use these panels I am in the process of making for another project, so everything has to be done with that in mind and in general....just lose my mind entirely.
OMG---I love his videos! He could put therapists and comedians out of business! ROFLMAO!!!
And you get to learn ART too~~~does it get better? (no)

XXOO~~♥
Anne, waiting for painting.....

Oh YAY, so you won't mind getting my not Christmas card, too late for New Year's card, will you??? I was waiting for pics of the newlywed, then daughter is getting engagement pics done Sunday so I thought I might as well wait for those...Oh you make me feel so normal. I do not know the artist of whom you speak, but I DO like what you've begun. Happy weekend. **kisses** Deb

I am going to roll my pennies and take his class some day! I just got my tree down, and there are still boxes of decorations that need lugging out to the garage. :) Have fun, take care of yourself!! xox Pam

I totally love what you have done so far, Audrey! Wow, and that is just a back ground? Love those colors. I am following you and Anne, eager to see what you both do with this class. I should be taking it too, you two are obviously very much enjoying it. Glad to see your post, I was starting to wonder how you were doing. Just leave the tree up, then you will be way ahead of the game come next December!

Those colors are striking and beautiful! I have very recently began to try my hand at painting but I'm afraid my knowledge is very limited!:)

Keep up the lovely work!
