A Good Chance The Rain Will Wash Away the Beauty

Awesome views all around the valley.

How is it possible this tree was green a few days ago?

Now this is a pop of color.

Neon beauty!

The color slowly creeps in.

God's palette!

A prelude to Christmas?

Green to yellow to orange ~ stunning.

I love the blaze of the red orange.

There are no words.

If only we could feast our eyes on this beauty all year.

The deep red leaves of
Autumn.
After weeks of solid beauty, the sky began to weep this evening. We expect rain until Friday, at times heavy. There is a good chance the rain will wash most of this beauty away. I had planned to post a picture each day in November. However, since it is now raining, I thought I would post several photos of the recent beauty we have been blessed with here in the Valley. Oh, how I hate to see it go. Autumn is my favorite season ~ this year it has brought sadness to my heart. But once the leaves are down, I will enjoy the crunch of the dried leaves as I walk through the woods and remember happy memories from Autumns of the past.

Your photos are stunning. Autumn is my favorite time of year also. I really miss it here in Florida. God is an awesome artist, isn't He?

Beautiful, Audrey. Autumn is a time for reflection, isn't it? I love walking this time of year. It's raining here, too, and I think the last of our color will be gone by the weekend. xox to you! Pam

This is just gorgeous. Where you are is definately more autumnal than here. I think I've told you in the past, we don't get much red, orange or gold. Yellow and gone for the most part. The Olde Bagg

Beautiful photos Audrey! I do love fall. Ours hasn't been as gorgeous as years past, but still some breathtaking views here and there.
