You were soooo lucky to get this shot! We used to have fawns here, but they were too well disguised and by the time I would see them, they were running! Beautiful!
Lucky, I was, Anne! Left the house on Monday, drove to the end of the Lane, and there were two little fawns sitting in the tall grass. I quickly grabbed my camera and had just enough time to take a couple of photos.....then along came Mom......off they ran. Adorable! I hope to see them again while they are small.
They are so photogenic, but when I look at this beautiful animal, all I think of is Lyme's Disease and ticks! I need to be less pessimistic, but I have 4 friends who are battling the disease from bites this season!
