Living the Creative Life

Our Living the Creative Life group met Wednesday night at my house.  We had pizza and salad and then shared our theme of "Under Water".  It was a fun evening with myself, Wally Neilsen, Therry Neilsen-Steinhardt, Margo Manuel, and Amanda Cockrell.
I have put details under the photos.  The last five photos show what we worked on Wednesday night ~ we each started a Prayer Flag, will finish on our own, and bring to our June meeting to share the finished product.
Therry's dining room with many "under water" additions!  The detail and imagination is wonderful.  One of my very favorites created by Therry.

Wally's steam shovel deep "under water" where it has been for a long time.  His technique really gives the feel of being under water.
This one Wally painted many years ago.  Can you imagine stepping into the clear water not knowing what lies beneath not that far from shore?
Love this!  Amanda did this one some time back, but it fit in very well with our "under water" theme.  She attached many goldfish to the canvas with a pillow and sheet.  Result ~ "Sleeping with the Fishes".
Amanda's vintage toaster assemblage with "under water" scene.
Margo's handmade Mer-people in an "under water" grotto made from a coconut fiber planter.  Fantastic!
I painted this mural on one entire wall in a condo a few years back for a gentleman who wanted anything painted as long as GOOFY was in it.  So, I painted this "under water" scene.  He loved it!
