Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice.  The shortest day of the year.  The beginning of one more quarter in the cycle of a year's time.  A day to ponder new beginnings.  The first day of winter.  A day to mentally prepare for the snow, the cold, and the wind that will soon blanket the mountains, the fields, our cities, and our towns.  A time to reflect on all that has passed and all that is to come.  A day to prepare for the celebration of the birth of Christ our King.  A day to reflect on the beauty that is LIFE.
A lot to do on the shortest day of the year.  I better get started.
HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE
