It was 80+ degrees out today.  I am so grateful for these amazing October days.

77* here today.  I couldn't stay in.  Did some work in the garage and walked around the yard with Jake.  These days are to be cherished.

Another year around the sun. We are slowing down some, but hopefully we'll have many more birthdays to celebrate. I wish you a great year of good health and good times, with maybe some adventure thrown in.

A Gorgeous October Evening Out Back

 

Jake

Poor little Jake. He had his 6 month comprehensive exam this morning - poking, prodding, vaccines and an injection for his allergies. They put drops in his eyes to check the pressure and his eyes are bloodshot and he can hardly open them. I checked with the vet, and they should clear up slowly.
He has taken after me - he has a little arthritis in one knee. 😟 Letting him rest. Hopefully, he’ll feel better in a few hours.

First photo is me in the middle, during a JUNGLE DRUMS performance ~ 1959. I remember the name of the dance, but I can't remember where it was held.

Second photo is SWAN LAKE on the stage at the Palace Theater in 1956. I am the last swan on the far right.

My sweet Mother made it possible for me to take ballet lessons for a number of years when I was young. I loved it. It sure would be nice to be as limber as I was then.

A Memory

  

Today would have been our 50th Wedding Anniversary.  Jim and I married in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Canton, Ohio, on October 10, 1970.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day to put Fall decor on Mom and Patrick's graves.  I am always grateful to visit their graves in such a pretty cemetery.
