Thursday in South Carolina

Too much wind to fly to Walterboro as planned, so my sweet fashionista friend Pam Gypsy Aries, jumped in her car and drove down here so we could visit!  We had a good lunch at Papa Zuzu's and visited for several hours before she had to head back.
Really fun to see her again and catch up.

Wednesday in South Carolina

Amanda had to work today, so Casey took me for a ride around North Charleston.  We had lunch and a nice relaxing visit at AZUL in Park Circle.
We had planned to fly to Myrtle Beach for lunch, but we got too late of a start this morning.  No matter.  Any time spent with Casey anywhere is appreciated and loved.

Augusta, Georgia

 In Jeanne's beautiful yard.

What a fun day!  And what a great son I have for flying me to Augusta.  Jeanne and her husband picked me up at the airport, we had a good lunch, and then we went to their house.  The time whizzed by too quickly.  We still had SO much to talk about and things to do and see.  Then it was time to go back to the airport to meet up with Casey.  And off to Charleston we went.
Thank you, Casey.  Thank you Jim and Jeanne!  It was a perfect day!
 Their dog Checkers is adorable.

Yikes! I don't know how Casey knows what controls to push and when. I'm just happy he knows!!

Back in Charleston

We made contact with earth at 6 o'clock and I was able to breathe again!

Tuesday in South Carolina and Georgia

This morning.  Casey was doing the pre flight checks in the hangar before we took off for Augusta. He flew me there to visit my good high school friend, Jeanne Franz Stanford. My nerves were a bit rattled, but I was excited to see Jeanne.

Monday in South Carolina

This afternoon, we went to The Fish House at Patriots Point, overlooking the USS Yorktown.  Casey and Amanda enjoyed a Seafood Castle that looked amazing.

Mother's Day 2019

Another great Mother's Day here in SC with Casey and Amanda.
Good eats at Taco Boy and all around fun just being with these two.

My beautiful card from Casey.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, my dear sweet Angel Mother.  I miss you more and more as time goes by.

Old Sheldon Church Ruins

The Old Sheldon Church Ruins in Beaufort County are SPECTACULAR!  Going to see them was well worth the 1-1/2 hours it took us to drive there.  It truly is something to see.  The church was burned down twice ~ once by the British during the Revolutionary War and once by the Union during the Civil War.
The ruins lie among majestic oaks and scattered graves.  Built in the 1700s, the church has been in ruins for over 120 years.
