A Sweet Visit
This sweet cardinal came to look in my studio window today. I love when the birds visit and stay long enough for me to snap a few photos.

Living the Creative Life
Our Living the Creative Life group met this evening at Montano's. Shown is the artwork we created using the theme "HOME":
Therry painted her cats, Misha and Gus. They bring much joy into Therry and Wally's "home". It is a delightful large painting she is going to have framed.
Wally painted his childhood home that is located in Illinois. He drew this from memory. Imagine the memories he has stored from years of living in this house that he once called "home".
l did a mixed media abstract expressing how no matter where you live, "home" is where your heart is.
We will meet again in September. The next theme is JOURNAL.

Auction Find
I purchased a box of misc. frames, etc., at auction on Saturday just to get these two gorgeous pieces that were buried in the box. I think the $10 I paid was a steal! They are big ~ 9" and thick hard wood. SO happy with them.

Sunday Salon
A good time was had by all this evening at Ibby Taylor Greer's SUNDAY SALON. Ibby sets a beautiful table and she surprised us with Ice Cream Cake in honor of National Ice Cream Day! We enjoyed good food and interesting conversation.

Delivered
Mary is now in her new permanent home. After I checked with the Pastor yesterday and received his acceptance, Mr. Magic and I delivered her this morning to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. I hope everyone in the parish thinks she is beautiful and enjoys her for many years.
Consignment Booth
Booth 2173 at Buy The Season
I spent several hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in my booth ~ rearranging, cleaning, and stocking with items I purchased in Ohio. It is full with decor and fun items!!
A Happy Customer
A customer showed me this photo yesterday. She bought this twin bed from my booth in February and made this bench from it for her front porch. She lives in a very old house and wanted the bench to look old, as well. I love a happy customer!
Flowers
Many of our flowers opened while we were away. The Gladiolas are late blooming ~ so pretty ~ brought a couple in and put in a vase to enjoy. Happy to see the gorgeous Hydrangeas and the Rose of Sharon. Geraniums on the back porch.
Return to Virginia
We headed back to Virginia on Saturday morning. Every inch of the vehicle was jammed. I purchased many items for my booth and a 5' Madonna statue that I am going to donate to my church. She will look beautiful in the church foyer. She was at an estate sale and must have guided me there, knowing I would love her.
We had to stop at the famous Shisler's Cheese House in Kidron for some Heggy's chocolates.
The last photo is Kelley Wilkinson Dario of Graysons Co Estate Sale Services, with Dan Daniel, moving the Madonna statue to my vehicle. Bless their hearts for getting her in the car and packing her well.

Dinner With My Friend
It was a beautiful drive back to Wooster from Canton this evening. I met good friend Holly Hoff for dinner and we had a great time. Too long between visits with the special people in my life.
