Black Dog Salvage

Went to the Holiday Open House at Black Dog Salvage today.  It is quite the event every year!  Had to stop and collect hugs from my friend John Reburn.  He was helping the little people write letters to Santa Claus on his letterpress Santa stationery!
Also got hugs from Katherine Devine.  She was painting pretty things on the faces of little people!
There was marshmellow roasting at the fire pit, refreshments, music, and a lot of interesting things to look at.
Always a fun event!

One of MANY gorgeous stained glass windows.
There is a little train running around the track on this Christmas tree.
 Interesting metal flags.
 Marshmellow roasting.
 Hello there!

Almost Full

Just got home from church.  It's cold out, but it's a beautiful clear night.  The full moon isn't till Tuesday, but it looks close to full, so I had to snap a photo of it.

Time Change

Out back at 5:30 this evening.  The view is fading fast with the time change.

Day of the Dead Party

Ready to leave for the party.
 Arrival.
A pathway of candles greeted the guests upon arrival.
The food was outstanding.  There was food on the table, on the buffet, and in every room.  There were chicken tamales, pork tamales, chicken empanadas, shrimp, dips, chips, beautiful tasty cookies (some in the shape of bones), candy, and beverages.  It was all delicious and no one left hungry.

Thank you, Amanda and Tony!!  What a GREAT Day of the Dead party!  The decor and food was amazing.  What fun sharing the evening with so many costumed interesting people.  I loved being a part of it.

Artist Trading Cards

On the way!! ~ I just mailed my 9 mixed media art cards for the group's "Gifts of the Sea" September/October theme.  I've always considered sea shells as beautiful  gifts from the ocean.
