A Fun Evening

Friday evening, I drove my sister and I to John Sokol's Opening Reception at Group 10 Art Gallery in downtown Kent, Ohio.  The show was Terra Fabula "Earthy Tales" ~ it was an event showcasing the specialized artistic talent of 3 Ohio artists.
It was great to see my longtime friend, John, and my sister was happy to meet him.
We arrived in Kent early enough to enjoy a casual relaxing dinner at Bricco.
There is a wonderful sculpture in front of the gallery that is dedicated to our men and women who served in the armed forces.  A very large flower sculpture graces the opposite end of the gallery outside.
The gallery is directly across the street from the grand entranceway that connects downtown Kent to Kent State University.
It was a beautiful pleasant evening that my sister and I enjoyed sharing together.

Just a small section of the cement base that anchors the large Flower sculpture. Being a lizard lover, I had to spotlight the lizard.
