Saturday Evening Moon

What makes the moon so magical? I took these photos this evening ~ the moon was beautiful, magical, not quite full, a ball of white cotton sitting in the middle of the blue-grey sky. It made me happy just to look at it.
I went to Palm Sunday Mass this evening and while driving home I saw something beautiful everywhere I looked. I took 157 photographs today, many of them on my drive home after church. I will post some of them this week but tonight I just wanted to post the moon.

This is your moon, Ces. I am sure you saw it, too!

What a beautiful moon, Audrey! I never think to take a picture of the moon, but we get some spectacular 'moon risings' here. Next time, I will try and remember to grab my camera. :) xox Pam

Lovely moon shot. Do you use a tripod for these type photos? 157 photos! No wonder you can come up with such wondrous pictures with that many to choose from! I am not usually leaving my studio to walk up to the house until after dark and I always appreciate having the moon to light my way. That brief dark walk is a good time for me to stop and look at the night sky, if it isn't pouring rain or totally clouded over, and that moon is always a welcome, ever changing sight.
