My brother, Patrick, planted this rose bush for our Mother when he was here visiting this Spring. It had a slow start, but now it is gracing us with beautiful perfect roses.

I can smell them from here!! LOL!! Beautiful pink...... Love, Marilyn
Oh yes I certainly CAN smell that rose! Certain colors and shapes have distrinct scents...it looks like it will be fine; heck of a summer to try and put down roots and flourish! MAybe you'll get a great Fall showing!
You know, I think I have that very same Knockout Rose in my backyard! I have a red one, too. My Mom got me into them and they're bushier than my 'plain' roses. (My red George Washington long stem rose bush is my very favorite. I got it at Wal-Mart for $5 many years ago and the roses smell heavenly and are a deep crimson.) Beautiful post! Blessings!
Oh, I love those simple roses. We have a few bushes of them and they do so well. Recently, we added three bushes with yellow flowers - they even produced a few rose hips! Hope you are doing well!! Hugs, Silke

Nice to see the beauty of nature in a rose. You can almost smell them.
