This is what I saw outside my bedroom window at 1:00AM this morning.  I loved watching the deer and the sky was magical.

Side Effects

I had my 2nd Covid vaccination on Saturday. Felt fine all day other than a sore arm. On Sunday, I got very cold and started shivering - for hours! I was VERY cold and did not feel 100%. Even with layers of clothing on and a big blanket around me, I could not warm up. Went to bed early. Woke today and I am fine.

Vietnam Vets

On this day in 1973, the last of the U.S. combat units withdrew from Vietnam, putting an end to one of America's longest conflicts in this country's history.

Not a pretty day at all!   66* with rain and wind!   We had a terrible lightning/thunder storm in the middle of the night around 4:00.  Poor Jake was very upset.

There are not very many public pools left these days. This one is gone, of course, but I remember being there with my sister. One more memory of days gone by.

Daily Walk

It is a cold first day of Spring, but the sun is out. Jake and I just took our evening walk. If you look closely, you can see a bird sitting on the corner peak of our house.

I was in beautiful Daleville country yesterday!  I was alone driving so I couldn't take many photos, but I sure enjoyed the scenery and the sunshine.
