Love From a Stranger

As Mr. Magic and I walked into a restaurant this afternoon for brunch, I glanced across the room and noticed a lady sitting alone in a booth.  Our eyes met and I said "hello".

A while later as we were eating, this same lady who was leaving, stopped at our table, put her hand on my arm and said, "Hi, my name is Pauline and I just wanted to tell you that I can tell there is something special about you."  I thanked her, we exchanged pleasantries, and off she went.

I'm not sure what she meant, but she lifted my heart and started my afternoon with a beautiful feeling that I can't put into words.

It is SO important that we be kind to one another in this mad world filled with turmoil and hatred.  This lovely stranger put a smile on my face that will last all day.

Weeping Cherry Tree

This Weeping Cherry Tree is in the city where I live.  I pass it almost daily.  Soon, the petals will fall and it will be green.  I am enjoying its pink beauty while it lasts.

An Art Day with My Friend

I spent a wonderful day yesterday with my sweet friend Tricia at her house.  We created and bounced ideas off each other.  It was inspirational and fun!

Spirit Warrior of Home

My "Spirit Warrior of Home" arrived today!!

Kelli May-Krenz, she is perfection!!  I am hanging her in honor of my mom.  Her home and her children were the most important things in my mom's life.

Thank you for the superb packaging!  There was no way she was going to suffer any damage!

Home Sweet Home

This large old majestic tree trunk has a wonderful front entrance for some lucky little critter, a little mulched path right to the door, and a large yard covered with little purple flowers.

Ornamental Pear Tree

Our Ornamental Pear buds opened!  It now looks like a cotton ball tree.

Cemetery Visit

 When she came to visit this past Winter, my sister brought this pretty Spring wreath from Ohio and asked me to put it on Mom and Patrick's graves when Spring arrived.  So, we took Jake to the cemetery today and put up the wreath.  Dear little Jake stopped at each of their markers and paused for a few moments.

Outside My Window

 This morning, I was sitting at my bedroom window looking out at the magic of Spring.  This is my favorite place to sit ~ window open, feeling the breeze, gazing at the beauty I am blessed to see every morning and every night.

An electrician is working on the security light on the back of the house.  Jake is NOT happy.  He's been barking for 1/2 hour and running to and from the window not understanding why this stranger is out there.
