Here is the first full moon of Spring, the Blue Moon.  It is also known as the Paschal Moon ~ the full moon right before Easter Sunday.  It's a beauty!

Living the Creative Life

 Wally, Therry, and I met at Taaza Roanoke this evening for our Living the Creative Life group.  We had amazing meals and then shared our recent art.  I've not been painting much lately, but did a small mixed media of the sun for our "LI" (fire) theme.

Wally and Therry have been painting up a storm.  They each did their "fire" piece and other pieces as well.

We are meeting again on April 25th.  Details will be posted on our group page.

Animal Lover

This is Paul - my niece Maria's rooster.  She loves him SO much and he loves her.  Follows her around the house - sleeps in her arms - just like a cat or a dog.  Maria has had Paul for a couple of years.  I would say he is pretty much a part of the family now.

Snow

I took this at 1:am.  The snow was still coming down and it was SO beautiful.  It reminds me of Ohio.  I used to love to walk in the dark while the snow was falling.  SO peaceful.

Surprise Package

 WOW!!  I just had an amazing surprise package delivered.  It came from an angel named Lulu.

It was filled to the brim with religious items.  Too many to post photo closeups of each, but some of my favorites are pictured.

What a dear friend Lulu is.  I've had contact with Lulu since before the days of Facebook, and I always knew she was special.  She has a heart of gold and treats everyone with love and care.  I treasure her friendship.

BIG EYES

What a fun surprise in the mail.  My dear friends, Therry and Wally, sent me this cute googly-eyed doxie card "just because".  SO sweet!  I love it.

Winter has returned to the Roanoke Valley!  It is very pretty, white, and fluffy, but we are ready for Spring!

Lucky Find

 Every once in a while, I get lucky with a good find!  Purchased many adorable figurines this weekend.  This is just a sampling of Easter/Spring that I will have in my booth at Buy The Season starting tomorrow afternoon.  Many more to come!
