Today I must tell you what a blessing I consider TREES to be. I love trees - in all their glory, shape, color and function.

Just think about all the wonderful things we have in our lives because of trees: Furniture, Lumber, Firewood, Syrup, Paper, Boxes. Think about the shade that trees provide. The homes provided for creatures like birds and squirrels. What about the Koala bears and the monkeys - where would they be without trees? What would Christmas be without a Christmas Tree ~ not only to showcase our ornaments, but the smell is wonderful? Think about the beauty that trees provide. The great pleasure of seeing all the gorgeous colors in the Fall is enough to realize what a blessing trees are. I'm certain there are many more functions and joys provided by trees that I've not mentioned here. Think about those. We should take care of our trees - a blessing for sure!

Rikkij said...: Audrey-I agree. I live in an area where trees are slaughtered wholesale for pallets. I often think of the eco systems living within these felled trees and it makes me very sad.

I AM A "SEARCHER"

I am THE LOVERS Tarot Card

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse. THE LOVERS represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made. Originally, this card was just called LOVE. And that's acually more apt than "LOVERS." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that you have or will come across a person, a career, challenge, or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.
