I chose this photo for Throwback Thursday because Easter is near and the bunnies made me think of Spring. I'm not sure of the year but I would guess I was around 5. I don't remember these bunnies, but I do remember Mom telling me that we had pet bunnies. I'm pretty sure most people take their bunnies out of the cage to play with them. It seems I decided to get right in the cage with them ~ easier and more fun, I guess. That way you don't have to worry about them running off. Perhaps I was pretending to be one of them.
I feel so blessed to have so many old photographs from my childhood. Looking at them really makes me miss Mom, though. She would always have some little bit of information to tell me about a picture when I would show it to her. For 96, her mind was really good until she had the stroke.

That picture is so cute. You look so happy (and it's a sunny day - woo hoo!). Happy Spring! xo
Saw this over at FB...love it!! Oh yes, I did include that bunny story??? LOL However, I have had bunny stew. Years ago, I bought this Navajo cookbook and they had this great recipe for bunny stew. We had this wonderful store close by, opened too much before it's time, except for me...loved all the exotic groceries. I bought da bunny meat and made the stew, minus the lard. Was pretty darn good too!!
Ok, have a great weekend, my friend and get out there and create something wonderful!!
Hugs,
Georgina
Oh how sweet, we caught a bunny once and made it our pet, had a castle made from cardboard boxes, only took it a week to decide he wanted to go live bck in the bushes by the river where we found him:) so amazing the information our mothers have for us to access, and I'm sure if she could she would enjoy telling as much as you would hearing her tales that accompany the photos :) thank you for visiting my Oz post and your kind words, much love x
