I've Been Away Too Long

It has been a good while since I last posted. I don't like it when I get too busy to spend some time on my Blog. But, things happen and sometimes it just can't be helped. My dear Mom has some health issues we've been dealing with, which means a lot of Dr. appointments. We had a trip to Urgent Care and the ER this past week, as well. I had an unexpected visit from my dearest friend who lives in Ohio. That was a real treat and I enjoyed every minute we spent together ~ only one day and one night, but it was a great and welcome visit. My consignment spaces have been taking up a ton of my time. I've been buying many items at tag sales and I spend a lot of time painting furniture and frames to sell. It is time consuming, but I enjoy it. I've neglected to take photos of things I've purchased to resell. I'm thinking you would be more interested in seeing the items I purchase to keep. More on that at another time. Also, it is that time of year when our large yard takes a lot of time to keep up. I normally love spending time in the flower beds, but the heat has deterred my enjoyment of gardening to this point. One day soon, I will post photos of our flower gardens.
My friends, I've been trying to keep up with reading your blogs and leaving comments. Hopefully, I can do better with that. It is surprising how much you miss when you are away from blogs for just a short time.
I have about 6 pieces of art in different stages setting around my studio. I hope to get back to these one day soon.
Since I've last posted we've had some beautiful skies, a beautiful moon, and several visitors to the yard. I hope you enjoy my photos of these things.

Sometimes when I am really busy, it's hard to find even ten minutes to create and yes the garden has taken a backseat with all my goings on, ah, well, we can't do it all, even though we women are the might warriors of get it done. I am THE LOVERS Tarot Card

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse. THE LOVERS represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made. Originally, this card was just called LOVE. And that's acually more apt than "LOVERS." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist.
