Plasma Punch

We are having a Color Wash Competition in our online Michael DeMeng class. We were encouraged to go "outside of the box" in our creation of a new color, using techniques we learned in the class. This is mine, titled PLASMA PUNCH. The winner will receive a small original piece of Michael's art. There are 34 entries and we are all itching to win!!! Now on to the judging......

The class is over on March 11 and I am sad to see it come to an end. Michael's videos have been refreshing, His teaching skills are great, with precise instruction and always a dash of humor added. Michael is a talented artist ~ I've enjoyed this class and I've learned new colors and techniques that I will put to use in future creativity. I may never use paint in the same way again. I hope to one day take one of Michael's "in person" classes.

Wish me luck! Although I must say there are some pretty great entries. I'll post the winner next week.

omg.....can you imagine that sight??? (maybe you shouldn't....)
I don't know what I shall do with myself when this is over--it has been a total art refresher for my brain. I loved every minute, and if you don't take that class close to you, I'm coming to Virginia to KICK YOUR BUTT!!!

Joking. (: I hear you, Anne. There is just a lot of "ifs" involved, so I can't commit just yet. If you would come all the way to VA to kick my butt, you could come all the way here to take the class with me!

I am THE LOVERS Tarot Card

Motive, power, and action, arising from Inspiration and Impulse. THE LOVERS represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made. Originally, this card was just called LOVE. And that's acually more apt than "LOVERS." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about.
