I recently purchased a Hummingbird Feeder and I put it out on Saturday. I was amazed at how quickly the sweet little hummingbirds came to the feeder and how they kept coming all day and all evening.
They are fascinating little creatures to watch ~ their speed is unbelievable. I know I will get much enjoyment watching them and I will be taking many more photographs.

Saturday was a gloomy, rainy day ~ I didn't get any closeup shots that were crisp and clear. I will have to keep working on that.
These little birds are just one more example of God's amazing creations.

We feed the Hummers every year. Last year they stayed until September 15th!
They are amazing creatures....
Have a Great Day!

Aren't they just the cutest little things! It is hummingbird season down in Padagonia, Arizona. I must go visit. People actually open their yards to visitors to come sit and watch the birds! Love your photos! Are you fully hydrated now after the party?!? **blows kisses** Deb
Those are absolutely amazing photos of the little hummers! I love the birds but my camera cannot keep up with them.
A funny aside. I was out in the evening, sunset but still very light, walking the garden for photos. I had on a RED SHIRT.....suddenly this hummer is about one foot from me! Checking me out, zooming in closer, then back, then looking......I guess I must have looked like a hummer-smorgasbord!!! LOL!!!
XXOO!!

Lovely photos Audrey! We don't have any Hummingbird feeders, but we see them at our flowers all the time.
Great photos Audrey! I love watching these little speeding energetic birds, they never fail to amuse me.
Great photos of the birds...I don't even try, they are too fast for my cheapy camera. Our hummers...like they belong to us, not....are training the new clutch of babies to drink out of the feeders. Poor daddy hummer is so frustrated with junior..he gets there but can't seem to figure out the "put your beak in the hole, son". Dad is hovering and squeaking and landing next to jr. to show him how and my sweet man says, "that fledgling is just like Ry, you can show him how and get all twitterpated about it but unless he accidently bumps into it he'll just keep drinking nothing and trying to please the adult bird". Who woulda thought there would be an Aspergers hummingbird to teach me a lesson? Back off Daddy bird, junior will either get it or he won't. Love it when the universe just shows you the simplicity of it all.
Audrey - these are amazing pics! I love hummers, too. We have a feeder right outside our kitchen window. I can watch them while I sip my coffee! xox Pam
Oh they are just adorable! Great pics-thanks for sharing your littlest friends with us xo
Great photos, we also feed the hummers and get a lot of enjoyment from watching them.
