The pictures show the front of our house (with snow), the ornaments I've put on the tree out front (with snow), one of the bushes (with snow), a few of the neighborhood mountains (with snow). LOL! I guess I wanted to be able to look back at the snow once it melts ~ do you think??
I went to a Holiday Open House this afternoon in Roanoke and on my way home, I passed the most beautiful tree. I could not believe it still had such color. AND, can you believe this hydrangea bush? STUNNING!! I would love to take that bush home!!
We were supposed to have a little neighborhood Christmas gathering in our cul-de-sac early afternoon today. That didn't happen. Maybe the weather will be better next weekend.......

Oh....the photos are beautiful! A lovely visual gift for me!!!
And yes, I'm jealous.....still waiting snow here. (I may wait until you-know-where is frozen over!)
Sometimes we go through winters of no snow what so ever. I fear this might be one......
Thanks for posting these!!! :)

Audrey- I was high up in the Blue Ridge on Thursdayy. Beautiful country. More to come, I'm betting. ~rick
Beautiful photos. We have not had "snow" here at the house yet. We have it in the hills and mountains around us and a few flakes fell the other night. It is cold and they expect it to get much colder. We are getting a blast of arctic air coming down from Canada. I prefer no snow if I have to drive, but if I can just curl up by the woodstove and look out at it's beauty that is a good thing.
I love the pictures and can feel the air. We are lucky to get rain here (which we did last night).
