Gladiator

Life size decor seems to be the trend down here. Amanda and I were in a consignment shop today where this Gladiator could be yours for $3700.

These two large mixed media pieces are in the Mitchell Hill Gallery in downtown Charleston on King Street. They were created by Twoie Palmer and I loved them. The bottom one is Frida done in the Klimt fashion. Beautiful, with high price tags, but fun to look at.

This and That

I saw this larger than lifesize mermaid today while shopping. Only a mere $549. (clearance price) and she could have come to live with me.

This is a very large old Crepe Myrtle tree. The base of it looks and feels like stone. It is in front of Pearlz Oyster Bar in West Ashley, South Carolina.

Pearlz Oyster Bar

Today we went to Pearlz Oyster Bar in West Ashley. Casey and Amanda had oysters and beer. I had a Grouper sandwich and iced tea.

This cool old piano was out front on the sidewalk.

The grouper and slaw was good. Didn't eat but a couple of the potatoes.

Casey, Amanda, and I went to one of my favorite places for lunch today ~ PAPA ZUZU's! I had the Greek Veggie Pita ~ SO good. We then went to WANDO RIVER GRILL to sit by the water. It was 89* and VERY sunny today.

Official Greeter

My official greeter! After 9 hours of waiting in traffic, inching along here and there, road construction, accidents, etc., I am finally here. It has never taken SO long! Maybe next time I will let him come pick me up and fly me here like he did last year. I am just grateful to be here safe.

Headed to South Carolina

I left this morning, headed to Casey's in South Carolina for a nice relaxing visit. My vehicle looked like I had packed for a month rather than 10 days! Mr. Magic opted to stay home with Jake. It was rough leaving the little guy. He was crying as I pulled out of the driveway. I will miss them, but I am looking forward to my visit with Casey and Amanda.

I am THE LOVERS Tarot Card
