Friday at THE BARN

It was our last night here in Ohio.  Jim and Patty treated us to dinner at THE BARN in Smithville.  It was very good and we had a fun evening relaxing by the lake.
Morning brings packing the car and the long drive home.  We had a great visit!

New Friends

My new friends at Majestic Turnaround Antiques in Canton, Ohio.

Wednesday in Ohio

Because my sister knows how much I love to go to The Twisted Olive in North Canton, the four of us had lunch there yesterday.
The food was delicious and being seated by the window, we were able to enjoy the lovely lake views.  After lunch, I was happy to walk around the beautiful peaceful grounds.

Tuesday in Ohio

Holly and I after surviving the rain and a sundae.
------------------------------------------------
My dear friend Holly and I met in Canton.  Had a lengthy lunch and visit at CHILI'S and then went to one of our favorite places ~ PLANT ET ART.  I love going there - the old hippie in me comes out when I see the magic that Deloris (the owner) creates with her plants and decor, and the smell of incense takes me back in time.
We had a lot of fun in her shop and stayed a long time as a thunderstorm arrived with wind, heavy rain, and lightning!  Once it calmed down some, we braved the rain and went across the street to TAGGART'S for a sundae.  It warmed my heart to spend the day with Holly.
At 8:00, I headed back to Wooster, enjoying a beautiful sky along the way, with memories of the day dancing in my head.

Sunday in Ohio

 Magical tree in Doug's yard!
--------------------------------------------------------
On Sunday Mr. Magic and I left Wooster and drove to Kent, had lunch there, then drove into Ravenna where we spent the afternoon under a big wonderful tree visiting with his son and daughter and their spouses.  We snacked on hors d'oeuvres, talked, laughed, and played with sweet Murphy.
It was a beautiful day and so nice to catch up with Doug and Jennifer.
The drive back to Wooster was beautiful.  We took RT 43 as I wanted to reminisce as we headed to Canton where we picked up a PIZZA OVEN pizza and didn't get back to Wooster till 10:00
