Stow Away
Sad Pup
This dear face just stared at me in shock when I tried to explain why I had to make a quick trip to Ohio. Nothing I said was going to mend Jake's little broken heart. My heart misses him SO much, but I will return in a couple of days.

Home Art
I was tagged by Amanda Cockrell to post art in my home for 7 days.
DAY 7
I thought since this is the last day, I would post a photo of these two mixed media pieces I created a few years ago. I love birds and you will find them in 50% of my art work.
I decided to keep these and they are hanging in my living room beside many pieces of art that I treasure.
Someday, I will post a tour of my art collection. There are many more works of art that deserve sharing.
Now I nominate Jeanne Stanford to post art from her home for one week.
Patrick
It is hard to believe that 10 years have passed since you left here for Heaven, Patrick. I can still feel your presence and hear your voice like it was yesterday.
I will love you forever, dear bro.

Both of these wonderful pieces that grace my walls were made by Donald Drumm of Akron, Ohio.

My Ohio trips always include a visit to this gallery.

Blessed Mother - this 15”x18-1/2” piece is framed sculpted metal. Paper on the back says it is from the 1890s and was restored by White House Galleries in Roanoke. It is a treasure that I love so much.
Throwback Thursday
Throwback Thursday ~ 1983
Fisho and I went on several vacations with dear friends CarolLee and Donald Phillips.
In 1983, we drove their van to New England and spent 10 days visiting the hot spots of New England. Our first stop was Mystic, Connecticut. We then continued on to make stops in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, and Vermont.
I remember a lot of time on the road, good food, interesting sights, many laughs, and treasured memories. One fun memory: We stopped at one particular restaurant to eat because their sign read "Blue Crabs" are back. We were seated and anticipated a great meal. Turned out the "Blue Crabs" was a band. We had a good laugh over that one.

LIVE With Seth Apter and Tim Holtz
Tim Holtz
This afternoon, I watched Seth Apter's Facebook LIVE with Tim Holtz ~ a chat about all things art and craft.
It was an amazing 2-1/2 hours!! One of the best guests Seth has had. It was interesting, humorous, heartfelt, sincere, informative, and filled with enthusiasm. I am filled with SO much inspiration and love for this amazing art community that Seth has created.
Tim threw out many words of wisdom:
One example:
"DON'T WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO BRING YOU HAPPINESS."
