Hickory Tree

We planted this tiny tree from a hickory nut in this pot early this summer and have been nurturing it.  SO happy to see the leaves have changed color.  It will be fun to watch it grow.

Fireside

Mr. Magic and I had lunch outside by the fire, at Macado's today.  Really enjoyed it.  I wanted to spend the entire afternoon just sitting by the fire, but chores and errands won out.

Late November Color

Our ornamental pear tree still has pretty leaves.  All our other trees are bare.  It was 60* today with a clear beautiful blue sky.  Not bad for late November!

Sweet Find

Picked up this adorable S/P set last night at Buy The Season.  They are perfect for my choir altar boys/angels collection that I put out for Christmas each year.  It's time to unwrap and set them up!

Another Goodbye

Off they go back to South Carolina.  How I love it when they are here to spend time with.  I miss them already (so does Jake).  Asking God to watch over them and protect them on their journey back to Charleston.

John Reburn (Appalachia Press), you have the BEST stuff!!  Hadn't been to Black Dog Salvage in quite a while.  Casey, Amanda, and I went this afternoon.  I barely got to look around ~ spent the entire time in your booth and purchased these treasures!

I went to the 38th Annual Roanoke Valley Mineral and Gem Show this morning.  SO many interesting things to see.

Ballast Point

 Here we are at Ballast Point Brewing Company in Daleville, Virginia.  We met up with Amanda's family again.  It couldn't be a more beautiful sunny day.  This place is huge and impressive with gorgeous views.

Our annual Thanksgiving celebration at the Natural Bridge Inn and Convention Center with Amanda's family.  Great food and fun conversation.  It was a nice scenic drive on this beautiful day.

A Little Holiday Humor

Did a little more decorating this evening ~ front porch.  Casey and Amanda are coming for Thanksgiving and I want a festive atmosphere to greet them.

Special Memory

Had to share this photo of my Great-Nephew with his Grandpa, my brother-in-law.  It was Grandparents Day/Thanksgiving Celebration in Samuel's classroom today.  What a special memory for both of them to tuck away.

Pretty Afternoon

I hung the Christmas wreath.  Getting an early start this year.  I am determined to enjoy the Holidays and not be doing the last minute rush.  The house feels festive now with Thanksgiving near.

Bath Time

Jake is SO good when he gets a bath.  He stands like a statue for Mr. Magic.

Gifts

Once again, my sweet friend surprised me with these 3 lovely religious items.  The Mary Queen of Heaven planter will go in my curio with all my BVM figurines.  The sweet holy water font will go on my religious icon wall along with the pretty framed Mary and Child done with a gold metal overlay.

I can't thank you enough, Louis.  I love that you always keep others in mind when you are out searching for treasures.
