Throwback Thursday
Throwback Thursday ~ 1983 ~ Somewhere in New England
Jim and I went on a 10-day vacation to New England with our dear friends, Don and Carol Phillips. We drove to Mystic Seaport, Connecticut, and went through each state on up through Vermont. We had a GREAT time. Spent time in Mystic Seaport, Boston and Plymouth, Massachusetts, the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Cape Cod, and more. I will always remember that vacation. I was a tad bit thinner in those days!

Trees
When I left my consignment booths this evening, I went for a little ride in search of beautiful trees. Some of them are mammoth! This first one is my favorite.

After seeing this on facebook, Donald reminded me that I took this photo 39 years ago. Yipes! Where did all those years go? It was 1978 and we were on one of our many golf trips. We sure had fun! Great memories.

The Warmth of Spring
Worked in the garage this morning getting things cleaned up and ready to take into my consignment booths this evening. Had this old shutter - I dressed it up so it could be used for porch Spring/Easter decor.
It's Spring ~ it's warm ~ the birds are singing ~ I am blessed!

Mellow Mushroom
We had our first visit to Mellow Mushroom in Roanoke today. It was excellent!! The menu was a surprise as I thought it was just a pizza place. Mr. Magic and I both had delicious sandwiches and I look forward to going back.

Another Nun
Score!! After working in my consignments booths, I'm usually too tired to look around. Yesterday, I took a little time to look in some other booths, and I found this sweet little nun figurine which now resides in the Fish Pfeifer convent!

Spring is Here!!
The Bluebirds know today is the first day of Spring. They are out in the front yard playing and catching worms. I was out running with my Canon Rebel T1i trying to capture them in action. It is a beautiful, calm, and warm first day of Spring!

Dinner
We went out for dinner to the Olive Garden ~ had Italian on Irish Day. My lasagna was delicious, but the best thing about our table was what was engraved on it ~ big and bold and right in front of us ~ Jake!

A Cold March Day
Left the house late today ~ had to get to the Post Office before it closed. 35* was a bit nippy after the warm Spring temperatures we've gotten used to this Winter. Nevertheless, these beauties caught my eye.
