Glorify the Lord with me. Together let us all praise God's name.
I called the Lord who answered me;
From all my troubles I was set free.
Taste and see. Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.

The Trade
Had a great dinner and conversation at FIREFLY FARE at 16 West Marketplace in downtown Roanoke last night with Tricia Scott, Wally Neilsen, Kristie Taylor, and Megan Taylor. I said goodbye to my "Witch Doctor" and hello to Kristie's "Mixed Media Angel", as we traded our creations. A happy evening!!
Staunton, Virginia
On Wednesday, my sister, brother-in-law, and I, traveled to Staunton, Virginia, to America's largest Antique Mall. Pictured is my JOY from the trip! I have a passion for books. Could not resist these treasures from a very large booth of rows and rows of books. This antique mall has 130,000 square feet of everything imaginable. I go with them every year and we still haven't covered the entire place. It was a fun day of treasure hunting!!
We had a nice lunch in historic downtown Staunton, visited an antique mall there, and then traveled north to Verona where the mall is located.

Signs of Spring
Another beautiful warm day. Flowers are coming up through the soil and buds are opening on trees and bushes too soon. I fear we might still see the wrath of Old Man Winter before Spring actually arrives.

God Remains in Control
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
~Colossians 1:17
There are times when it seems as if everything is going wrong. Throughout history, nations and individuals have struggled through disasters, hardships, dangers, sorrow and adversity.
Before becoming despondent, however, acknowledge the greatness, glory and constancy of God. He called the world into existence, He created man and has kept vigil over His creation, caring for us through the ages and sheltering us in every disaster.
He is the Creator God who will never abandon His workmanship. Hold onto His promises; place your entire trust and faith in the living Christ and through Him you will survive all dangers and diversities.

A Beautiful Winter Day
WOW! What a beautiful day. It is in the high 70s and the sun is shining. It's windy, but warm, and outside is where I should be. But I am in my studio cleaning, purging, and rearranging ~ it has needed a makeover for a very long time! I can already feel inspiration filling my soul!

February SNOW MOON
Our February SNOW MOON just as it was coming up from behind the trees early in the evening.
I took photos throughout the evening from about 6:45 till 10:00. We had 3 celestial events ~ a penumbral lunar eclipse, a "snow moon", and a comet all on the same night.
The SNOW MOON was named by early native American tribes because the heaviest snows usually fell during this time.

The Light
We are the light of the world
We are the city on a hill
We are the light of the world
We gotta, we gotta, we gotta let the light shine.
