Sweet Autumn Clematis

Every year I train my Sweet Autumn Clematis to follow the fence.  I never got around to that this summer ~ it has been too hot to do much more than necessary out there.  So, it is climbing across the other plants, spreading its beautiful arms that are filled with sweet tiny white blooms.

Memories

Now that I've been home for a few days, I am trying to catch up on many things including sharing photos from my 50th HS class reunion.

The b/w photo is Kathy Hanlon Rarey and I in 1953 (63 years ago) playing dress-up at the age of 5.  We lived only a couple of houses down the street from each other and spent many years playing together.  The color photo is at the reunion.  I hadn't seen Kathy since high school, although we've been in contact through email for a short time.  I truly enjoyed seeing her after all these years.

A New Home for This Little Deer

One of my Ohio purchases from a cute little shop in Smithville (a village in Wayne County).  Could not resist this small cute deer.  He was meant to live next to one of my flower gardens.

CCHS 50th Class Reunion

We had our 50th Class Reunion on Saturday night at Tozzi's on 12th.  We started the evening by having a Mass which was celebrated by our classmate, Fr. King, who had become a priest after high school.  We then had our class photo taken, dinner, and then the fun began.

We had the BEST time!!  Hadn't seen many of these classmates since high school.  Many hugs, memories, and much laughter.  SO happy that I decided to attend.  It was a memorable night.

CCHS Tour

 On Saturday morning, about 30 of us from the Class of '66 enjoyed a 2-hour tour of Canton Central Catholic High School.  It was such fun seeing classmates and the school again.  We toured the gym, several classrooms, the library, cafeteria, chapel, and some of the grounds.

Heading North

Finally on my way to Ohio for a visit and my CCHS Class Reunion!!  Mr. Magic is staying home with Jake.  Dear little dog knew something was up - he would not leave my side all day yesterday and last night.  Gave me constant lovin'.  I hope he understands that I'll be back.  

Off to the North now!!!

On my way home from Doctor appointment this afternoon ~ she was standing out in the rain and had no problem with my picture taking as I talked sweetly to her.

Sweet Little Ones

 The little ones now come daily to the lot across the street from my house.  They seem to trust me and let me get pretty close.  I find it difficult to stop taking photos as they are SO adorable and I don't know how long they will continue to come or how soon those sweet spots will leave.  I LOVE watching them.

RAIN

 It has been a very overcast, gloomy, rainy week.  It rained all day Wednesday and Thursday, so I went down to the river to watch the water.  The ducks, geese, and even some little ones, were hungry and surrounded my car.  Unfortunately, I had nothing to give them.

It was fun to watch them waddling to and fro in the pouring rain.

There is a glimmer of hope for clear skies today.  Hopefully, no more rain for now.

20th Anniversary

Terry and I married 20 years ago today in the park in Alliance, Ohio.
