This sweet Peace on Earth Angel painted by Betty Stoumbos of Canada, is the newest addition to my art collection. Such a pretty little painting. I have often been told my home is very much like an Art Gallery. I am beginning to see why.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Constanza !!
On this special day, my sweet friend, I send wishes that the coming year will bring you love, joy, and purpose. You have been through SO much and you've been SO strong. You are an inspiration! Your stitching and paintings always tell a beautiful story. I look forward to your future creations.
Be Happy!!

A Thief in the Night
Look who came to steal food from the little birdies last evening.
Checking to make sure nobody is watching.
Might as well have a drink, too, while I'm here. Ice water is so refreshing.
Somebody is watching.
Small pieces of food, but good enough to eat.
That was SO good.
Leaving the scene and feeling no guilt.

A Grand Welcome
Old friend, Todd, arrived at Casey's late Sunday night for a visit. Yesterday, Casey took him on a flight from Charleston to Hilton Head where they enjoyed Snapper and Conch Fritters for lunch! The more photos I see of him flying, the more my fear is beginning to melt away. I'll be proud and happy to sit next to my son in a plane and be whisked off to lunch in some tropical city.

Domestic Violence
Soon after I put seed out this afternoon, this was going on in the tree. I wanted to believe they were playing, but it sure looked more like a fight to me.

Beautiful Night Snow
Took this photo while out crawling the street last night. I love the snow at night. It is now snowing again and the wind is BLOWING ~ NOT venturing outside tonight... too cold and windy!
Winter Storm JONAS
After shoveling the sidewalk AGAIN, I walked around the yard and took these photos. I haven't measured, but I'm guessing we got very close to 1-1/2 to 2 feet of snow. It is a beautiful Winter Wonderland out there.

January Snow Storm
It has begun! We went from NO snow last night, to this, early this morning.
This little guy has been in one of the trees out front packing in the berries for a good while this morning.
Everything is closed or closing! Looks like we'll be spending a cozy weekend at home. A power outage is my only concern. The birds are concerned as well - looking for a warm safe place to settle in while the snow piles up.

Cardinals
These are photos of a few of the cardinals that flew into the front yard about an hour ago. There was probably a dozen of them ~ males and females. They played around for a while and then left. It is very COLD with light snow falling. They need food and I must bundle up and go out to fill the feeders.
