A couple weeks before we left on our Ohio trip, Mr. Magic built a simple wood structure for the wisteria to crawl up because it was growing all over the lawn. Not sure where we are going with this plan, but the wisteria is certainly not slowing down. So, dear Patrick, we WILL have flowers again next Spring!

Birthday - July 25
14!! The years are clicking by fast. Gone is the "cute" little guy and now we have a "handsome" athletic teenager. Wish I could be there to celebrate with all of you. I hope your day is special in ways that make you very happy. 💓

July 15 - Throwback Thursday
THROWBACK THURSDAY
Pottsboro, Texas, 1971, Patrick and Audrey standing in his front yard in front of Lake Texoma.
Fisho and I had only one week off from work. We jumped in the car and drove to Texas to visit Patrick (21 hours straight through). 50 years ago! I still remember everything we did and everywhere we went.
Treasured memories.
July 14 - "Piggy"
Last evening, while visiting my neighbor friend Donna, Jake latched on to this little stuffed "piggy"! It had to come home with us, has not left his side, it slept with us last night, and "piggy" is still attached to him this morning.
July 13 - Deer
July 13 - Art Cards
Received two more "Architecture" Art Cards - one from Maggie Goodwin (UK) and one from Stacy Woolsey (Texas). They are great! It was an interesting theme.
July 11 - Greeting Card
Since I was away, I didn't see this 4th of July greeting card until today when we opened our mail. Another great "doxie" card from old friend, Tom Stephan. Thank you. 💓 I dearly love these special cards. They warm my heart.
July 11 - Jax is Back
I love this little guy. Jax was here playing with Jake again this evening. His sweet mom brought me a little gift of goat milk soap. Thank you, Heather. I am surrounded by sweet kind neighbors who care. My heart is full.

July 10 - We are home!
We are home!! 7:45! It was a long day. We had a lot of rain while we were away. The Wisteria is out of control.
July 9 - The Oaks Lakeside, Chippewa Lake
What a lovely evening! Pat and Jim took us to dinner at Chippewa Lake. The weather was perfect and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed dinner being able to look at the beautiful views by the lake.
We are leaving in the morning to return home to Virginia. We had a great time and look forward to the next visit.
