I purchased this adorable post card the other day. It is by Rose O'Neill ~ From the KEWPIES AND THEIR BOOK, 1911.

I thought it very fitting of the quote.

    That is absolutely darling! Mom always loved the Kewpies; I still have one of the original bisque ones with only hinged arms.

    I love the quote but I absolutely love kewpies, they're so adorable. Thanks for the advice....we'll see what happens with the turtles vs the dogs vs the retrained people.

    adorable. you have eclectic tastes like i do. there is beauty in so many different things.

    thank you, as always, for stopping by my blog and commenting. i have switched to spanish since i express myself so much better in my native tongue but i can see you are still perceiving the ideas. the idea for my latest post on my children came from visiting lucias blog. she is moving and has run into boxes filled with memories of her girls growing up.
