Turkey Painting

This wonderful painting by George Hinke should help put us in the
Thanksgiving mood.
I found it in a 1990 IDEALS Thanksgiving magazine. Enjoy!

  1. I remember those paintings (well, prints) decorating the schools and house windows....it wasn't until I moved out here that I discovered what a real wild turkey looked like and was quite disappointed! Because it wasn't puffy!
And of course, there are the farm/factory white ones...poor things of no color or brain.....
Maybe I'll be brave and buy a duck....QUACK!

    XXOO!!

  2. Audrey, that is a great painting and I agree with Anne, wild turkeys are a disappointment compared to those pictures.
